Zollie Columbus Leonard Lawson, 82, of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at Twin County Regional Hospital, Galax, Virginia. She was born August 17, 1932 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Presley Leonard and Lessie Bourne Leonard.

She is survived by her husband R. F. Lawson of Woodlawn, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law: Joan Lawson Gosnell and Bob of Hickory North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law: Dallas and Helen Lawson of Woodlawn, Virginia; grandson and wife: Marty and Jennifer Lawson; great grandchildren Zakary, Jenna and Nikolas: Sister: Gladys Lineberry of Galax, Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law: Garnett and Brenda Leonard; Barnett and Eula Mae Leonard all of Galax; sisters-in-law: Geneva Leonard; Beryl Jean Leonard; and Clara Leonard. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held Friday, February 20, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Carroll Lineberry and Randy Warden officiating. Interment will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery, Galax, Virginia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 AM Friday until service time.
