Zelma Lee Goad Anders age 89 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday, June 13,2010 at Twin
County Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Anders was born on Wednesday, August 11, 1920 in Carroll County, Virginia to Charlie and Ella Etta Phibbs Goad. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Carlie Franklin Anders.
She is survived by her son Ronald Anders of Max Meadows, Va.; sister Elizabeth Anders of Fries, Va.; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 17, 2010 at 2:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Bob Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery at Fries, Va.. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
