Yancy Burton (Y. B.) Hall, Jr.'s Obituary
Yancy Burton (Y. B.) Hall, Jr., age 87, passed away at his home Monday, January 22, 2018. Y. B. was born June 17,1930 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Yancy Burton Hall and Maude Mitchell Hall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Maudleene Cochran and Gladys Cruise and brother Robert Hall.
He is survived by his wife: Sue Edwards Hall of the home; son and daughter-in-law Rick and Debbie Hall of Woodlawn; grandson Brad Hall, great grand daughter Elleighana Hall; sister Guyda Hedrick of Roanoke, Virginia; adopted daughter Julie Horton. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The family will receive friends Wednesday January 24, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8: 00 PM at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 25, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Woodlawn United Methodist Church with Rev. Dina Clower and Rev. Joe Mack Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Woodlawn United Methodist Church, 786 Woodlawn Road, Woodlawn, Virginia 24381
