Winnie Rose Stanley age 99 of Fries, Va. passed away Sunday December 10, 2006 in Waddell Nursing Home. She was born in Grayson County, Va. on October 21, 1907. Mrs. Stanley was preceded in death by her husband Grat Stanley. She is survived by a daughter & son-in-law, Jean Stanley & Eddie Lambert of Winston-Salem, N.C.; son Fred Stanley of Fries, Va.; daughter-in-law Mary Youngblood Stanley of Fries, Va; son-in-law John Fialla of Wauwautosa, Wisconsin; eighteen grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; one great-great-great-grandchild and several nieces & nephews also survive. The funeral service will be held Wednesday December 13, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Stevens Creek United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at Stevens Creek United Methodist Church.
