Winnie Kate Liddle, 97, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 in the Grayson Nursing and Rehab, Independence Virginia. Mrs. Liddle was born August 24, 1920 in Carroll County, Virginia to the late Arthur Fred and Emma Cox.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry Liddle.

She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Richard H. and Gloria Liddle of Galax; step grandchildren Josh Moose and Joe Moose, step great granddaughter Liberty Grace Moose; sister-in-law Ann Jennings of Galax, Virginia, special friends Mrs. Ann Hawkins and family; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 1:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Ben Haga officiating. Interment will follow in the Oakland Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 Noon until time for the service.
