Winnie Jincy Delp age 84 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2014 in the Waddell Nursing Home.
Mrs. Delp was born on August 26, 1929 in Galax, Virginia to Walter and Pearl Petty McMillan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lewis Delp and a son Dennis Delp.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Jonathan and Vanetta Delp of Galax, Virginia; eight grandchildren Trenton Delp; Karen Page; Oliver Delp; Emily Delp; Amie Delp; Corrie Delp; Bristol Delp and Sara Delp; five great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law Harold and Lillian McMillan of Galax, Virginia; brother-in-law and wife Carl and Judy Delp of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday, January 17, 2014 at 7:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with the Rev. Cas Horton and the Rev. Angie Lineberry officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 5:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. Burial will be Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Felts Memorial Cemetery.
