Wilmer Clayton Criner's Obituary
Wilmer Clayton Criner age 83 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at the Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, North Carolina.
Mr. Criner was born on November 30, 1929 in Fries, Virginia to Walter and Rose Akers Criner.
Mr. Criner proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife Lavada L. Criner of Galax, Virginia; five nieces; four nephews; two great-nephews and two great-great-nieces.
The funeral service will be held Friday, March 8, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Cliffview Church of God with Pastor Ron Hill officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. Military Rites will be conducted by the Grayson VFW Post 7726. The family will receive friends Friday fron 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the church.
