Wilma Lee Thomas, age 86, of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday November 23, 2021 in Forsyth Medical Center.

Wilma was born on June 16, 1935 in Galax, Virginia to the late McKinley and Myrtle Lineberry. She is also preceded in death by her husband Freddie Dean Thomas; brothers Fred Lineberry and Eugene Lineberry; sisters Audine Lineberry and Irene Lineberry; son Carol Lineberry; grandson Allen Lineberry; granddaughter Vanessa Carol Caviness.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Merle Jean and Horasio Acencio of Galax, Virginia; daughter-in-law Patricia Lineberry of Galax, Virginia; five grandchildren Steven Archer, Travis Archer, Nikki Dickerson, Daniel Lineberry, and Christopher Lineberry. Also surviving are a special friend James Walker; several nieces, nephews and great grandchildren.

The graveside service will be held Friday November 26, 2021 at 1:00PM in the Bethany Community Cemetery with Pastor Rodney Christman officiating. There will be no visitation.
