Wilma Lee Dixon Roberts age 82 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, May 9, 2010 in North Carolina Baptist Hospital.

Mrs. Roberts was born on February 19, 1928 in Carroll County, Va. to Marion & Emily Beckner Dixon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Ralph W. Roberts, Sr..

She is survived by her son & daughter-in-law Ralph "Bud" & Teresa Roberts of Galax, Va.; daughters & son-in-law Jeannie & Greg Hawks of Ennice, N.C.; Judy Rippey and Denise Roberts both of Galax, Va.; sister & brother-in-law Dorothy & Kenny Cook of Galax, Va.; brother Clayton Dixon of Fries, Va.; grandchildren Michelle Vaughn; Shane Rippey; Shannon Spurlin,Michael Roberts; John Roberts; great-grandchildren Caleb Spurlin; Avery Roberts; Marleigh Roberts;; step-great-grandchild Laikyn Ayers; several nieces & nephews; several great-nieces & nephews; special friend Pauline Isom.

The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4:00 until 6:00 pm at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. A private graveside service for the family only will be at the Jennings Cemetery following the visitation.
