Wilma Nell Freeman age 76 of Independence, Virginia passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2009 in Grayson Nursing & Rehab Center. Miss Freeman was born on January 10, 1933 in Grayson County, Va. to Holly & Carrie Lawson Freeman. She is survived by a niece Brenda Gravley of Independence, Va.; nephews Kenneth Edwards, Paul Douglas Edwards, Michael Edwards and Billy Edwards all of San Antonio, Texas. The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 2:30 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. D.G. Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Mountain Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
