Wilma Frances Ayers age 80 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, April 27. 2021 in the Lewis-Gale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.

Mrs. Ayers was born in Galax, Virginia on February 14, 1941 to Robert Wayne and Ethel Roberts Bedsaul.

She is survived by her husband Walter Phillip Ayers, Jr. ; son and daughter-in-law Michael Phillip Ayers and Donna Brown all of Galax, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Shannon and Jay Alderman; Lindsay and Jason Gertin; great-grandchildren; Caleb Gertin; Madison Gertin; Sydney Alderman; Addie Alderman; sisters and brother-in-law Tiney Poole of Ennice, North Carolina; Brenda and Bob Mitchell of Galax, Virginia; brother Larry Bedsaul of Asheboro, North Carolina; sisters-in-law Elsie Cockerham and Linda Wilson; several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
