Willie Frank Dotson better known as Bill Dotson age 85 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, February 7, 2020 at his home.

Mr. Dotson was born in Carroll County, Virginia on March 18, 1934 to Harvey Franklin and Mary Janice Chrisley Dotson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law Robert Trimble.

He is survived by his sisters and brother-in-law Fay Dotson, Marie Trimble, Fern Dotson all of Galax, Virginia; Fran and James Ward of Richmond, Virginia; nephews and spouse Mitchell Ward, Jeffrey and Rhiannon Ward all of Richmond, Virginia; great-niece Alexis Ward; great-nephews Carter Blair, Patrick Blair and Collin Blair.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Fairlawn Church of Christ Cemetery with Kent Allender officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
