William Vergil Viars age 56 of Max Meadows, Virginia passed away Monday, March 17, 2025 at his home.

William was born in Wythe County, Virginia on August 31, 1968 to Junior and Mandy Arnold Viars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Junior Ray Viars; grandparents Harry and Margie Edwards Viars; CW and Edna Mae Stroupe Arnold.

He is survived by a brother Lee Viars of Roanoke, Virginia; aunts and uncles Jane and Duane Wall of Max Meadows, Virginia; Connie Whalen of Wytheville, Virginia; Pauline and Doug Snow of Barren Springs, Virginia; Carl Viars of Max Meadows, Virginia; special friends and caregivers Mia Cook; Andrew, Chasity Candice, Abbie and Maverick; Matthew Farmer; Rachel Porter; Cindy Porter; Tim Wall and Joe Farmer; several cousins; his church family at Full Gospel Revival Center and numerous other friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.

A memorial service will be held Friday at 4:00 PM in the Full Gospel Revival Center with Darren Kinzer, Maurice porter and Duane Wall officiating. Inurnment will be in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends will be received from 3:00 PM until time for the service at the Full Gospel Revival Center.
