William "Billy" T. Nelson's Obituary
Willliam T. "Billy" Nelson age 90 of Fries, Virginia passed away Friday, July 16, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Nelson was born on November 1, 1919 in Carroll County, Virginia to Lee and Sallie Dunford Nelson.
He is survived by his wife Loretta Fay Nelson of Fries, Va.; children and spouse Craig Nelson of Okala, Florida; Treva & Bobby Sparks; Tony Nelson all of Galax, Va.; grandson Adam Sparks of Galax, Va.; three half-sisters and two half-brothers; special friends Randy Taylor and Howard Sayers.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, July 18, 2010 at 3:00 pm at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church at Fries, Va. with Pastor D.G. Fox and Pastor Ron Hill officiating. Burial will follow in Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from two until service time at Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church.
