William Glenn Shupe age 74 of Carbondale, Illinois passed away Monday, April 21, 2008 at his home. Mr. Shupe was born in Grayson County, Va. on September 1,1933 to William C. & Vergie Mae Stanley Shupe. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Su-ellen Elaine Shupe. He is survived by his wife Margaret Bunni Shupe of Carbondale, Illinois; daughter & son-in-law Sari & Walter Bottje of Fayetteville, Arkansas; sister Gladies Barker of Washington, DC; one grandson; several nieces & nephews. A graveside service will be held Friday, April 25,2008 at 11:00 am at Felts Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Walt Simmerman officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by Hillsville VFW Post 1115. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
