William Ray Peake. Age 68, of Galax passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at his home. Ray was born January 27, 1951 in Marion, Virginia to the late William Earl and Liney Widner Peake.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Carrie and Mitch Hawks of Galax, four grandchildren, sister Ruth Beck of Michigan and two nephews.

A graveside service and burial will be held Monday, September 23, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Rosewood Memorial Gardens, Rural Retreat, Virginia with Elder Pete Hawks officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
