William Thomas Norman age 80 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, June 12, 2011 at his home.
Mr. Norman was born in Surry County, North Carolina on March 28, 1931 to Guy Duncan Norman and Sarah McRoberts Norman.
He is survived by his wife Marie Laura Norman of Galax, Virginia; sisters and brother-in-law Addis and Sam Bryant and Patricia Ann Adkins all of Lambsburg, Virginia; brother-in-law and wife Donald and Rhonda Lowe of Galax, Virginia; sisters-in-law and husbands
Jessie and Roy South; Hallie and Johnny Brannock all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Garry Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Fishers Gap Cemetery with Military Rites by Hillsville VFW Post 1115. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
