William Early Noblett, Jr.'s Obituary
William Early Noblett,Jr. (Junior) age 83 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, October 25, 2010 at the Golden Living Center.
Mr. Noblett was born on October 1, 1927 in Grayson County, Virginia to William Early Noblett, Sr. and Cora M. Porter Noblett. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter Linda N. Parks and brother R.J. Noblett.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years Ona Faye Burris Noblett of Galax, Va.; one son-in-law Ed Parks of Mt. Airy, N.C.; grandson and wife Matthew and LeAnn Parks of Mt. Airy, N.C.; five great-grandchildren Kaitlyn, Jacob, Timothy, Hannah and Jenna; sisters and brother-in-law Kathy Perry of Galax, Va.; Mary and Harry Smallwood of Elk Creek, Va.; brothers and sister-in-law Porter and Bonnie Noblett of Independence, Va.; Paul Noblett of Stanleytown, Va.; brother-in-law Danny Burris of Galax, Va.; foster sister Lowana Wullschleger of Clover, S.C.; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church with Rev. Bill Linkous, Rev. Jeff Wilson and Rev. Ed Parks officiating. Burial will follow in the Summerfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from six until eight at the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church.
