W.C. "Bud" Nichols age 87 of Fries, Va. passed away Saturday, May 5,2007 at his home. Mr.
Nichols was born on April 29, 1920 in Grayson County, Va. to Ernest & Nada Cox Nichols. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Johnsie Hawks Nichols. He is survived by his daughter Martha Nichols of Fries, Va.; sister Peach Nichols of Fries, Va.. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at 11:00 AM in the Fries Baptist Church with Rev. John Willimas and Rev. A. L. Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 7:00 PM until 8:30 PM at the church. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Fries Fire Department or Rescue Squad or to Twin County Hospice.
