William Penn Isom's Obituary
William Penn Isom age 89 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday, October 5, 2012 at his home.
Mr. Isom was born in Galax, Virginia on October 29, 1922 to Jim and Alice Trimble Isom.
He is survived by his wife Ada Lee Isom; daughters and son-in-law Wanda Jones; Patty Hampton and Melvin Garcia all of Galax, Virginia; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Sunday, October 7, 2012 at 5:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Max Combs officiating. Burial was in the Galax City Cemetery. There was no visitation at the funeral home.
