William Franks, Jr.

William Frank, Jr. age 92 of Ivanhoe, Virginia, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mr. Frank was born in Grayson County, Virginia on May 27, 1934 to William and Nannie Bourne Frank. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Shaffner Frank and his sister Wilma Frank.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Pam and Randy Taylor of Fries, Virginia; two grandchildren and spouses Amy and Kevin Davis of Ivanhoe, Virginia; April and Jason Burcham of Fries, Virginia; three great-grandchildren and spouses Jordan Taylor and Matt Creed; Mikayla and Zack Collins; Haley Helton and Garrett; seven great-great-grandchildren Mason Sawyers; Braxton Helton; Lincoln Collins; Laramie Collins; Axel Gable; Emerlie Creed and Hadley Creed; honorary family member Cheyenne Holdaway.

A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM in Mt. Hope Cemetery with Amy Davis and April Burcham officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
