William Lawrence Dotson, Jr. known as Larry Dotson age 65 of Galax, Va. passed away Sunday, June 3, 2007 at his home. Mr. Dotson was born in Galax, Va. on May 28, 1942 to the late William L. Dotson, Sr. & Jewel Leftwich Dotson. He is survived by his wife Mary Anne Spinks Dotson of Galax, Va.; daughter & son-in-law Kimberly Anne & Timothy Lee Kinser of Galax, Va.; son & special friend William Lawrence (Trey) Dotson III & Dawn Rollins of Chester, Va.; sister & brother-in-law Delores Anne & Thomas Lundy Lineberry of Galax, Va.; three grandchildren; brother-in-law & his wife Jim & Faye Spinks; several nieces & nephews; several great-nieces & nephews. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, June 5, 2007 at 8:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. John Ousley and Tom Lineberry officiating. Military Rites will be conducted by Grayson VFW Post 7726. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from seven until eight before the service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. Flowers will be appreciated or donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
