William Arnold Dillon age 90 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 at his home.

Mr. Dillon was born on May 21, 1925 in Galax, Virginia to William Edward and Lillie Ann Patton Dillon. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Ann Anders Dillon.

He proudly served his country in the Army Air Force during World War II.

He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law Susan Michelle Dillon; Shannon Dillon both of Woodlawn, Virginia; Rhonda and Reginald Black of Salem, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Jeffrey and Beth Dillon of Bunker Hill, West Virginia; three grandchildren Ryan Black; Rita Black and Kayla Dillon; three great-grandchildren Reanna Black; Sarah Black and Micayla Black; sisters and brother-in-law Maxine Morris of Galax, Virginia; Betty and Louis Robinson of Pennsylvania; brothers and sisters-in-law Robert Lee and Evon Dillon; Roger and Shirley Dillon all of Galax, Virginia; Carroll and Debbie Dillon of Jonesboro, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 11:00 AM in the Victory Way Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Wells, Pastor Terry Cooper and Pastor Neil Edison officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
