William Jason Dalton age 49 of Rural Retreat, Virginia passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012 in Stafford, Virginia.
Jason was born on August 20, 1962 in Carroll County, Virginia to Jimmy Lee and Darlene Yvonne Vernon Martin.
In addition to his mother Darlene Vernon of Rural Retreat, Virginia he is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Taylor and Jonathan Workman of San Diego, California; grandchildren Brooke Workman and Parker Workman; sisters and brother-in-law Jamie and Andy Meade of Sante Fe, Texas; Trisha Harrod of Culpepper, Virginia; brothers and sister-in-law Paul Tate of South Boston, Virginia; John Dalton of Mebane, North Carolina; Charles and Peggy Dalton of Marion, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Randy Morris officiating. Burial will follow in the Stevens Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 until time for the funeral service at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
