William Oliver Crane age 62 of Galax, Va. passed away Saturday, July 14, 2007 in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mr. Crane was born on December 12, 1944 in New Jersey to the late Harry O. & Gertrude Mahler Crane. He is survived by his wife Helen Elizabeth Crane of Galax, Va.; step-son & spouse Skip & Shelia Beggs of Dugspur, Va.; sister & brother-in-law Corinna & Paul Gizendanner of Wyckoff, New Jersey; brothers & sisters-in-law Roger & Glenda Crane of Elizabeth City, N.C.; Greg & Susan Crane of Cincinnati, Ohio; three grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at 4:00 PM in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Dr. Tom Whartenby officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
