William Travis Coomes' Obituary
William Travis Coomes, age 38, of Galax, VA died Friday, Nov. 6, 2009, at his home.
He was born Nov. 14, 1970 in Galax, VA. His parents are Robert L. Coomes, Jr & Sandra Hackler Coomes of Galax, Va.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny Coomes of the home, his parents, Robert & Sandra Coomes, Galax, daughter, Katie Coomes, sons, Colton & Caleb Coomes, brother, M. Shane Coomes, Galax, mother & father-in-law, Jerry & Bobbie Poe, Galax, brother-in-law, Josh Poe, nieces, Krista & Justin Ward, Kendra Coomes and nephew, Aaron Coomes.
A graveside service and burial will be held at the Galyean Cemetery on Monday, Nov. 9, 2009
at 11:00 AM with Elder Terry Wilson and Marvin Williams officiating.
Visitaton will be tonight (Sunday) at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
The Travis Coomes children trust fund has been set up to help provide for the education of his three children, Katie, Colton and Caleb. Donations may be sent to the Travis Coomes Children Trust Fund thru the Grayson National Bank, PO Box 186, Galax, VA 24333.
