William Thomas "Bill" Amburn age 66 of Woodlawn, Va. passed away Wednesday in Twin County Regional Hospital. He was born May 22, 1940 in Carroll Co., Va. to Cosmo and Jessie Carico Amburn. In addition to his parents he is survived by a sister & brother-in-law, Danna & Arlos Bryant of Fancy Gap, Va.; special friends, Brian Combs & Amy Cockran; one niece, two nephews and five great nieces & nephews also survive. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 21, 2006 at 2:00 PM in Blue Ridge Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Dewey Felts officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
