William Frank Alderman age 89 of Fries, Virginia passed away Saturday March 12, 2022 in the Galax Health and Rehab Center.
Mr. Alderman was born in Wythe County, Virginia on October 20, 1932 to Everett and Hallie McRoberts Alderman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Helen J. Alderman.

Mr. Alderman proudly served his country in the US Marines.

He is survived by his children and spouses Patricia Delby; Barbara and Forrest "Bo" King; Steven and Debbie Alderman; grandchildren and spouses Jessica and David Parnell; Cosby and Chris Hawks; Melissa and Dustin Williams; Brooke and Catherine Alderman; Chelsea and Jason Musick; Aaron and Jenna Alderman; eight great-grandchildren; Andre; Ethan; Selah; Gracie; Brylee; Saylor; Jack and Ellie; one great -great-grandchild Liam; sister Zenith More; brother Glenn Alderman; several nieces and nephews; special niece Frankie Wilson.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Cold Springs Cemetery with Pastor Steven Alderman officiating. There will be no visitation.
