William Preston Adams' Obituary
William Preston (Will) Adams age 95 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, January 6, 2013 in the Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Adams was born in Alleghany County, North Carolina on January 22, 1917 to Romus and Mary Lucy Poe Adams. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Virgie Adams.
He is survived by his daughter Mary Ann Weddle of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Rev. Reggie Wallin officiating. Burial will follow in the Galax City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the funeral home.
