Wilda Ann Fayne age 86 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at her Home.
Mrs. Fayne was born on September 13, 1931 in Galax, Virginia to Charlie Franklin and Ruth Donithan Combs. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son Eric Matthew Fayne.
She is survived by her husband Elwin Eugene Fayne of Galax, Virginia; daughter and her partner Judith Ann Fayne and Darlene Douglas of Galax, Virginia; Janet Chris and Richard Whisenant of High Point, North Carolina; sons and daughters-in-law Barry D. and Teresa Fayne of Birmingham, Alabama; Steven K. and Jacqueline Fayne of Clemmons, North Carolina; sister-in-law Blanche Andrews of Warrenton, North Carolina; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Sam Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakland Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday evening from six until eight at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
