Wilbur Clinton Edwards' Obituary
Wilbur Clinton Edwards, age 85, of Galax, VA died Saturday, Nov. 1, 2008 at his home.
Mr. Edwards was born Dec. 23, 1922 in Carroll County, VA to the late Arther and Noma Edwards.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Dallas & Dawn Edwards, Galax, sisters, Marie Smith, Philadelphia, PA, Janie Dillon, Bland, VA, Mildred Wagner, Oklahoma, one grandson, Justin Edwards and one step-grandson, Christopher Cockerham.
The funeral service will be held Monday, Nov. 3, 2008 at 2:00 PM.in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery, Military rites will be performed by the Grayson VFW Post #7726 and visitation will be held from 12:00 Noon until 2:00 PM prior to the service, at the funeral home. The Rev. Richard Lindamood is the officiating minister.
