Whitmore R. Farmer's Obituary
Whitmore R. Farmer age 91 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Monday, April 23, 2012 in the Blue Ridge Health and Rehab Center.
Mr. Farmer was born in Carroll County, Virginia on August 6,1920 to Elmer and Maggie Ella Montgomery Farmer. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Nell Robinson Farmer.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Ruth Ann and Milo Cox of Galax, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Roger and Carolyn Farmer of Woodlawn, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Crystal Cox; Greg and Roxanne Cox; Richie and Katrina Farmer, Mark and Tracy Farmer; nine great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, April 26, 2012 at 12:00 Noon in the Woodlawn United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. John Grimm officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:00 AM until 11:30 AM at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
