Wendi Rachelle Phillips age 52 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025 at her home.

Wendi was born on September 24, 1972 in Radford, Virginia to Tommy and Joyce G. Phillips. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Zane Clark Shockley.

She is survived by her daughter Airel Phillips (Tyler) of Galax, Virginia; three grandchildren Bentley; Landrix and Zeke; fiancé  David Campbell; siblings Teresa Phillips (Sally) of Galax, Virginia; Sherry Burrow (Scotty) of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; Eric Phillips (Bill) of Dallas, Texas; Holly Rector (Ronald) of Galax, Virginia; sister-in-law Teresa Shockley; aunts Lovelene G. Horton; Shirley G. Meredith and Gloria G. Frazier;  nieces and nephews Christine Gray (Jeremy)l Cody Burrow (Katylin); Chase Isaacs; Zane Shockley; Destiny Shockley;   special friends Philip and Angie Hill; special pets Skullie and Mini.

The funeral service will be held Friday at 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Dr. Mark Mayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Gardner Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully request donations be made to the Galax Carroll Grayson Animal Shelter.
