Wayne Hamilton Sexton, 72, of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, September 24, 2018 at his home.

Wayne was born in Galax, Virginia on November 5, 1945 to the late Grey and Willie Aldred Sexton.

Wayne is survived by his wife Debbie Sexton of Galax, Virginia; sons and daughters-in-law Michael Wayne and Gena Sexton of Cana, Virginia, Ricky Lee and Jody Sexton, Bradley Wayne and Breeanna Sexton, and Joshua Sexton, all of Galax, Virginia. Also surviving are fourteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and mother-in-law Betty Jo Smith of Galax, Virginia.

The graveside service will be held Thursday at 2:00 PM at Monta Vista Cemetery with Pastor Theron Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:30PM until 1:30 PM at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
