Wayne Maxwell Robinson age 69 of Galax, Virginia passed away Monday, November 30, 2009 in Twin County Regional Hospital.
Mr. Robinson was born on April 10, 1940 in Carroll County, Virginia to Thornton & Nina Smythers Robinson.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia Robinson of Galax, Va.; sister & brother-in-law Phyllis & Kenneth Combs of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; sister-in-law Carol Burris of Hillsville, Virginia; special sister-in-law Betty Eaton of Hillsville, Virginia; six nieces & nephews; several aunts & uncles.
The funeral service will be held Friday, December 4, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Cliffview Church of God with Pastor Don Fox, Pastor Ron Hill and Rev. Joey Baggatta officiating. Moose Rites will be conducted by Galax Moose Lodge #773. Military Rites will be conducted by Hillsville VFW Post 1115. Burial will follow in Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from seven until nine at Cliffview Church of God.
