Wayne Edward Kirby's Obituary
Wayne Edward Kirby age 80 of Fries, Va. passed away Friday, September 11, 2009 at Golden Living Center.
Mr. Kirby was born on July 2, 1929 in Grayson County, Va. to Edgar Kyle & Rose Ella Wilson Kirby.
He is survived by his wife Ella Mae Pearman Kirby; daughter Vicki Lynn Kirby both of Fries, Va.; sister & brother-in-law Jane & Frank Higgins of Carsonville, Va.; brothers & sister-in-law Larry Kirby of Fries, Va.; Richard & Marie Kirby of Hillsville, Va.; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
The funeral service will be held Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church with Rev. Ken Blevins and Steve Alderman officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from six until eight at Mt. Hope United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Mt. Hope Building Fund C/O Martha Bartlett.
