Warren Carlin Marshall age 98 of Fries, Virginia passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 in the Grayson Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mr. Marshall was born in Carroll County, Virginia on January 5, 1921 to Lawrence Herman and Oder Quesenberry Marshall. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Edna Mae Williams Marshall.

He is survived by his daughters and son-in-law Carlene Marshall Hall of Fries, Virginia; Anita Jo and Ted Farmer of Blacksburg, Virginia; grandchildren and spouses Ted Anthony Farmer and Sarah of Radford, Virginia; Cyndy Hines and Richard of Elkton, Virginia; Terri Adkins and Greg of Galax, Virginia; Barry Anders and Heather of Draper, Virginia; three great-grandchildren John Farmer; Madison Buck and Aaron Buck; brothers and sister-in-law Julian and Betty Marshall of Vinton, Virginia; Dewey Marshall of Salem, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 4:00 PM in the Galax Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. Theron Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Fries Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Galax Pentecostal Holiness Church.
