Warren Eugene Hackler, Sr. age 65 of Galax, Virginia passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Warren was born in Galax, Virginia on August 14, 1952 to William Eugene and Sarah Katherine Smith Hackler. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Dana Hackler.

He is survived by a daughter Amanda Isom of Greensboro, North Carolina; son and daughter-in-law Warren Eugene Hackler, II and Nicole of Clayton, North Carolina; three grandchildren Seth Isom, Ian Isom and Suzanna Isom; one great-grandchild; sisters and brothers-in-law Shirley and Victor Tucker of Pelham, North Carolina; Barbara and Theron Hall of Danville, Virginia; Patricia and John Fielder; Sandra Coomes all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Elder Theron Hall officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 PM until time for the service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
