Wanda Sue Roberts' Obituary
Wanda Sue Brown Roberts age 74 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014 at her home.
Wanda was born in Grayson County, Virginia on October 31, 1939 to William "Lee" and Eva Beckner Brown.
She worked 50 years in the X-Ray Department at the hospital and loved every minute of it. She was last employed at the Twin County Regional Hospital.
She is survived by her husband Ted J. Roberts; sister and brother-in-law Linda and Hazen Burnette; sister-in-law and husband Geneva and Bobby Burcham all of Galax, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; special friend Callie.
The funeral service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Brother Monty Rector officiating. Burial will follow in the McKenzie Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10:00 AM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pipers Gap Rescue Squad.
