Wanda Faye Parish age 68 of Winston-Salem, North Carolina passed away Tuesday, September 28, 2010 in North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
Wanda was born on October 2, 1941 in Carroll County, Va. to Arthur and Nettie Combs.
She is survived by her husband Wayne Parish of Winston-Salem, N.C.; daughter and son-in-law Debra and Bill Dudley of Kernersville, N.C.; son and daughter-in-law Ricky Wayne and Suzann Parish of Mocksville, N.C.; granddaughter Chelsea Parish; sisters and brother-in-law Thelma and Carlos Bryant of Mt. Airy, N.C.; Sadie Schaeffer of Galax, Va.; brothers and sisters-in-law Rudolph and Mary Ann Combs of Woodlawn, Va.; Lones and Helen Combs of Fancy Gap, Va.; Larry and Sandra Combs of Galax, Va.; sister-in-law Norma Hale of Galax, Va.; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Friday, October 1, 2010 at 3:00 pm in Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Don Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Susie Hawks Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday night from seven until nine at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
