Wanda Sue Hines Lane age 93 of Fries, Virginia passed away Saturday night in the Hillsville Health and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Lane was born on October 14, 1929 in Fries, Virginia to John Mack and Bessie Spence Hines. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Hobart Lane and William Testerman; two grandsons Eric Thad Taylor and Anthony Gene Funk.

Her joy in life was to play the piano for her church for over seventy years.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Patricia Funk Kreczmer and Jerry of Florida; son and daughter-in-law Tony Douglas Funk and Amy of Piney, Virginia; sister Jennie Farmer of Fries, Virginia; granddaughter and husband Marland Katherine Campbell and John; two great-grandchildren Riley Campbell and Tegan Campbell.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the Atkins Memorial Church with the Rev. Lee Thomas and the Rev. Marc Bewley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Atkins Memorial Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from five until seven at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home.
