Wanda Gay Hawks Ham age 82 of Galax, Virginia passed away Friday May 20, 2022 at her home.

Mrs. Ham was born in Carroll County, Virginia on January 31 ,1940 to Lawrence and Cora Stockner Hawks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Lewis Ham; daughter Cathy Ann Soria; sisters Judy Milby and Valeria Milby.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law Vickie and Darrell Quesenberry of Dugspur, Virginia; sisters and brothers-in-law Lori Fletcher of Florida; Jenny and Bo Smith of Galax, Virginia; Lynda Milby of Virginia; Gale Kirkland of North Carolina; Renea Milby of Virginia; brothers and sisters-in-law Tony Milby of Virginia; Timmy and Diane Milby of North Carolina; Michael Milby of Florida; Kenneth and Ada Milby of North Carolina; Larry and Patty Milby of Nebraska; seven  grandchildren Miranda (John) Cooley; Ashley (Scott) Millaway; Sasha (Ricky) Bobbitt; Angela (Isaac) Hawks: Santana Soria; Bobby Sorai; Cameron (Bree) Manning; nine great-grandchildren Caden Lemons; Hunter Millaway; Aydan Dalton; Dakota Bobbitt; Payge Marie Bobbitt; Cambree Lemons; Sawyer Hawks; Emerson Hawks; Isiah Hopkins; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Sunday at 3:00 PM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Pastor Shawn Carter and Pastor Jeff Pickett officiating. Burial will follow in the Monta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1:00 PM until time for the funeral service at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home
