Wanda Lee Parks Devine age 95 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday April 7, 2022 in the Hillsville Health and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Devine was born in Itmen, West Virginia on August 18, 1926 to Hayden Burl and Callie Eulala Hash Parks. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years John F. Devine, Jr.; one sister and six brothers.

She was a proud member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law John F. and Alice Devine of Independence, Virginia; daughters and son-in-law Sandy Cox; Barbara and Jerry Fridley all of Galax, Virginia; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren all of whom she loved dearly; several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday April 15 ^th at 2:00 PM in the Hillcrest Baptist Church with Pastor James Cowley officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 PM until time for the service at the Hillcrest Baptist Church. Burial will be private for the family at a later date.
