Wanda Spurlin Caudell age 86 of Fries, Virginia passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at her home.

Mrs. Caudell was born in Grayson County, Virginia on December 31, 1933 to Lonnie and Blanche Bartlett Carico. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Willard Eugene(Sonny) Caudell; sisters Hattie Trimble, Peggy Iroler and Edna Lineberry; brothers Mitchell Carico, Friel Carico, Orville Carico, Jake Carico and Bill Carico.

She is survived by her children and their spouses Janice and Greg Dowling of Galax, Virginia; Allen and Angela Spurlin; Dana and Denise Spurlin all of Fries, Virginia; Lisa and Joseph Brewer of Trinity, North Carolina; Candace and Lloyd Johnson of Ennice, North Carolina; sisters and brothers-in-law Kate Livingood of Woodleaf, North Carolina; Lavon Petty of Baywood; Joyce and Raymond Davis of Fries, Virginia; Rachel and Doug Shaw of Independence, Virginia; Shirley and Brady Bryant of Baywood; fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday at 2:00 PM in the Providence Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Carrico officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
