Wanda Lucille Bonham age 84 of Fries, Va. passed away Friday, August 22, 2008 at Grayson Nursing & Rehab Center. Mrs. Bonham was born on October 18, 1923 in Grayson County, Va. to Clyde & Rose Carico. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Orville G. Bonham and a son Sherman George Bonham. She is survived by a son & daughter-in-law Kenneth Gale & Gloria Bonham of Fries, Va.; daughter-in-law Agnes Bonham of Galax, Va.; sister Goldie Spears of Columbus, Ohio; two grandchildren; one step-granddaughter; two step-great-great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. The funeral service will be held Monday, August 25, 2008 at 11:00 am in Atkins Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Smythers and Rev. Bill Shupe officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie-in-state one hour before the funeral service and there will be no visitation at the funeral home.
