Wanda Louise Taylor Billings age 76 of Galax, Virginia passed away Sunday, January 23, 2011 at her home.

Mrs. Billings was born on January 12, 1935 in Fries, Virginia to William Kyle and Ollie May Holcomb Taylor.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother Will and Ollie May Taylor, brother and sister-in-law James and Beulah Taylor, her sisters and brothers-in-law Marie and Lonnie Jones; Marybelle and Lestle Archer and a brother-in-law John Leonard.

She is survived by her husband George W. Billings of Galax, Virginia; daughter and son-in-law Becky and Steve Krejci of Woodlawn, Virginia; son and daughter-in-law Robin and Shelia Billings of Galax, Virginia; four grandchildren Christopher T. Clemons; Ashley E. Krejci and Tyler Krejci of Woodlawn, Virginia and Cody Billings of Galax, Virginia; sister Virginia "Tine" Leonard of Iron Ridge.

Special Thanks go to Twin County Hospice for their care and also to her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Jay Billings and Rosa Mays for all the extra hours of loving caregiving.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Brother Max Combs and Rev. Robert McLean officiating. Burial will follow in the Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from six until eight at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Twin County Hospice.
