Wanda K. Barrett age 61 of Galax, Virginia passed away Saturday, January 29, 2011 in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital.
Wanda was born on June 13, 1949 in Radford, Virginia to Ellis Clyde and Dula Baugus Lundy. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Douglas Walker Barrett.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Rebecca Lambert and Randolph DeHart of Roanoke, Virginia; sons and daughter-in-law Bobby Douglas Barrett and Jonathan Claude Barrett both of Galax, Virginia; Brian Wayne and Lori Barrett of Floyd, Virginia; grandchildren Candice Michelle Viers and Micah Brooke Lambert.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 2, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the Vaughan-Guynn Chapel with Juanita Brown officiating. There will no visitation at the funeral home. The family will be at the home at 92 Leedy Circle, Galax, Virginia.
