Walter Harold Weatherman known as Harold Weatherman age 83 of Galax, Virginia passed away Wednesday July 5, 2023 in the Waddell Nursing and Rehab Center.

Mr. Weatherman was born on May 11, 1940 in Galax, Virginia to Walter Daniel and Virginia Opal Reavis Weatherman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter Marcy Hendrix; son Michael Allen Weatherman and brother Scott Weatherman.

He is survived by two daughters Debra Felts and Dedra Lineberry; son and daughter-in-law Tim and Geneva Weatherman; sister Thelma Poe all of Galax, Virginia; eight grandchildren Weston Felts; Logan Felts; Reid Lineberry; Gavin Weatherman; Brayden Weatherman; Morgan Weatherman; Nick Hill and Hailey Hill; four great-grandchildren Alexis Felts; Conner Felts;  Aubrie and Peyton; one niece Leighann Dalton; and two nephews and spouses Jason and Jaye Weatherman; Luke and Brandi Weatherman and his special pets Zoe and Jake.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the McKenzie Cemetery with Sam Pierce officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully request donations be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
