Walter "Walt" Sexton age 81 of Woodlawn, Virginia passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2024 in the Forsyth Medical Center.

Mr. Sexton was born in Huntington, West Virginia on May 8, 1942 to Virgil and Quida Mae Fuller Sexton. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Judy Sexton.

Walt worked for S&S Tire as the manager at Galax, Virginia for 19 years. He was like a father to most of his employees and was well known in the tire business. Walt will forever be missed by his family and abundance of close friends and his neighbors he had for many years.

Walt was buried in the Bell-Ross Cemetery in Branchland, West Virginia.

I think of you today.

But that's nothing new.

I thought about you yesterday.

And days before that too.

I think of you in silence.

And often speak your name.

All I have are the memories.

And pictures in a frame.

Our memory is a keepsake.

From which I will never part.

Judy has you in her arms.

I have you in my heart.

I will always love you and miss you so much.
