Vivian Smith Wilson age 100 of Galax, Virginia passed away Thursday September 12, 2024 in the Hillsville Health and Rehab Center.

Mrs. Wilson was born on October 18, 1923 in Galax, Virginia to James and Audean Amburn Smith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Joe Edd Wilson, Sr.; and three children Joe Wilson, Barney Wilson, and Sandra Miller.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Patty and Gary Adkins; Kathy Halsey all of Galax, Virginia; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Sunday at 2:00 PM in the Monta Vista Cemetery with Jarrod Wilson and Pastor Jackie Poe officiating. There will be no visitation.
